Does anyone bother to listen to albums anymore? Certainly not me. Even I can't help but notice, however, when an artist releases several very good songs in a single year, whether or not they happen to be on a single disc. Associating this particularly horrid combination of misogyny and awful spoken-word with "The Young Mod Year in Review" is the an oxymoron of epic proportions.
You should try listening to a complete album. Franz is the perfect place to start. Just don't forget to hit repeat.

To Say Antony And The Johnsons are 'insanely overrated' but then you also say that you dont really listen to full albums proves the point that you clearly dont know what you're talking about. Listen to 'I Am A Bird Now' and then comment. Otherwise your views are completely pointless my friend.

antony and the johnsons are underated if anything. their breed of kooky wierd melodic grandeur is amongst some of the most haunting, chilling, overwhelming and overall most powerfull music there has ever been so shame on you for condemming their sucess as they deserve every credit
Mew And The Glass Handed Kites (one name??) wasn't that bad! It does not live up to their earlier music, I agree, but I certainly did not find it a disappointment =)
great listing man !, and u are rigth, u downlo... i mean , buy an allbum, listen to it three times, then u get 3 or 4 songs and buy another band's album to start again, listen all and keep a selection, that's the trick ( for example listen to doves album, is brilliant !!, but u gotta keep those 3 songs that are actually the singles )
ooohh yeah , and i HAVE listened to the full anthony and the jhonson album, and IT is overrated.
